Tania Abitbol was born in Madrid in 1965. From a very early age, she inherited from her parents a deep love for the visual arts and a strong desire to get to know other cultures.
After a serious back injury, she decided to hang up her golf clubs to be able to devote herself more fully to photography, and it was love at first sight. Since then, she has never stopped traveling, and it is Asia in particular that attracts her attention.
Her images are full of spontaneity, life, and color, always respecting the reality that surrounds the moment, and her cameras are always eagerly seeking that beautiful quality that inhabits the human soul; this tireless search is her way of standing up, through her photographs, to the acts of greed, selfishness, and abuse of power that she sometimes witnesses along the way.
