Swiss photographer Pierre Pellegrini specializes in long-exposure black and white landscape photography. He studied architecture, graduating in building design, before realizing his dream of becoming a physical education teacher. His masterful technique was developed over years of work and experimentation. Through long-exposure, he reveals a hidden world, where the dynamism of the sky is emphasized by the contrast with the perpetual movement of the water, frozen and ironed like a silk dress. His photography manages to capture the sublime interplay between space and the inevitable passage of time. The magic in his work is the result of the transient and ephemeral.
