Polish photographer Katarzyna Łukaszewska, best known as Kachna Lipa, creates deeply emotive landscapes. Kachna is in a continuous pursuit for the spontaneous magic in nature, often taking pictures when the fog comes in or when the weather is more severe: in late summer, autumn and early winter. Hazy mystical landscapes, music, nature, people and human feelings are her greatest inspirations.
Kachna strives to capture the human state of mind and natural emotions, such as freedom, loneliness, peace and the need of love. At the same time, she tries to convey nature’s greatness and human beings as its smallest elements. She is intrigued by a parallel world, invisible to the human eye, and the beauty and magic of nature. Her style is an exquisite combination minimalism, harmony, purity, symmetry, accuracy and serenity.
Her photographic sessions at the break of dawn have allowed Kachna to experience and capture an entirely different world, often hidden during the rest of day. Being surrounded by peace and magic, it is a mystical experience that she highly recommends.
