Fabien Delaube is a French artist based in Paris. He has been painting with oil on canvas since he was twelve years old. Fabien’s artwork focuses on faces because he loves human expressions. According to him, “there is nothing more expressive”. He studied photography and audiovisual media before turning definitively into the visual arts and decoration.
Different art schools from around Bordeaux shaped this creative spirit for five years. In 1996, he joined L’Opéra de Bordeaux, where he worked as a decorator for two years. In 1998, he sharpened his art by following the courses of trompe l’oeil at the Companions of the Tour de France. While the trompe l’oeil no longer has secrets for him, he continues to follow the courses on live models at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bordeaux. He currently works as a decorator and exhibits his paintings between his native region and Paris.
