Yung Cheng Lin, under the name of 3cm, is a talented Taiwanese artist who puts strong topics behind portraits of women’s bodies. Each photograph provokes a reaction in it’s audience by distorting the human body. Even his work is sometimes perturbing and surreal, he succeeds in giving us a strong message in each of them, making us stop and think. He uses simple objects we can find in our regular life, however the details involving each of his works stand out from any other artist that try to work in the same subject.

“The main appeal is to discuss the morality issue especially in women... the definition this society nowadays has given to women is quite narrow, judgmental, and unfree, and the media has great influence on it particularly,” “When people don't follow the latest fashion trends, they are considered as out-of-fashion or black sheet. This phenomenon is obvious to see among women. For instance, women need to shave hair or lose weight to keep good shape.” Cheng Lin tells The Creators Project
