Hyperrealistic paintings of human anatomy
Korean artist Wanjin Gim, also known by his nickname Willeys, is originally from South Korea and currently living in Seoul. Since he was a child he has used paper and pencil to express himself through drawings.
Fascinated by the paintings of Lucian Freud, Wanjin incredible creates sensual hyperrealistic paintings of the human anatomy. He usually paints nudes that allow him to express the abstract curves of the human body and the infinite tones of the surface of the skin until achieving a sensation so realistic that one can even feel its texture, or perhaps its smell. His artworks carries a delicate realism full of details in which you can even distinguish veins, hairs and muscles.
