Tattooing is an ancient practice, with historical evidence dating at least to Neolithic times. Originally regarded as symbols of rebellion or outsiders, tattoos have become widespread in modern society. Not surprisingly, as part of this evolution, the fine-art world is embracing them as an art form, with even auctions and museum exhibitions.
