Welcome to Photographize.co. By accessing, submitting to, or participating in any project, publication, or promotion managed by Photographize, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us Photographize is a highly curated platform, based in the State of Maryland. With over 10 years of experience promoting both renowned and emerging artists, we are dedicated to the advancement of visual arts in all its forms. Since our inception, we have connected global audiences to a wide range of artistic voices through thoughtful editorial curation, international distribution, and digital engagement.
We have built a global art community of over 2.5 million followers through our rigorous curatorial process and high creative standards.
2. Artist Selection & Participation
2.1 All featured artists are selected through a curatorial process conducted by the Photographize editorial team. Selection is based on artistic quality, originality, and thematic alignment with each publication or feature.
2.2 Photographize engages artists through two primary methods: direct invitations by our editorial team and open-call submissions via our official submission portal.
2.3 Being contacted by Photographize or featured on our website does not constitute a complimentary or editorial invitation. Participation in our publications or promotional campaigns is optional and may involve a processing or administration fee to cover production, editorial, or social media-related costs.
2.4 We offer one primary submission option via our official submission page (https://www.photographize.co/submissions):
- $35 Administration Fee for consideration in social media publications. Even if the submission is not approved by our editorial team for the main feed, it will receive a guaranteed 24-hour story feature.
2.5 All submission-related fees are clearly listed and must be paid in full before submission will be considered complete. These fees support internal administrative review, editorial planning, and communication management.
2.6 Artists must confirm participation through written agreement (email or digital message) and submit payment to secure inclusion.
2.7 On occasion, Photographize may extend complimentary invitations at its sole discretion. These invitations are limited and do not imply entitlement for all artists. We encourage artists to focus on the strength of their work rather than on whether participation is paid or unpaid.
3. Processing & Administration Fees – Refund Policy
3.1 Processing and administration fees contribute to layout, design, curation, distribution, and promotion of selected work. These fees are not payments for guaranteed acceptance, but contributions to the operational costs of independent publishing and marketing services.
3.2 All fees are non-refundable under any circumstances once payment has been submitted, unless otherwise explicitly agreed upon in writing by Photographize prior to payment. This policy applies due to the customized and immediate nature of the editorial planning and design process.
3.3 In limited cases, Photographize may issue a refund solely as a gesture of goodwill. Such exceptions do not constitute a waiver of these terms or set precedent.
4. Copyright & Usage Rights
4.1 All artists retain full copyright over their submitted works. By participating in any Photographize project, the artist grants Photographize a limited, non-exclusive license to publish and promote the submitted content solely for the context of the publication or agreed-upon promotional campaign.
4.2 No submitted content will be used beyond its intended scope without the written permission of the artist.
5. Public Conduct & Defamation Policy
5.1 We welcome open, respectful dialogue. However, public dissemination of false, defamatory, or misleading statements about Photographize, its staff, or its participating artists may result in permanent exclusion from current and future projects.
5.2 Photographize reserves the right to take appropriate legal action, including but not limited to defamation claims, against individuals or entities whose public conduct is determined to have caused reputational harm.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
6.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States of America.
6.2 By participating in any Photographize offering, users consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the State of Maryland for the resolution of any disputes arising under these Terms.
7. Modifications & Severability
7.1 Photographize reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued participation or submission after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
7.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, such provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
8. Final Notes
8.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all artists, contributors, and collaborators, regardless of country of residence.
8.2 By submitting to Photographize, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms.
